Week of May 7th – May 13th at Winter Park Presbyterian Church
Tuesday at 7:00pm the Hand Bell Choir of Presbyterian College (Clinton, SC) will give a concert at Winter Park Presbyterian. Please come out and enjoy a beautiful demonstration of the art of hand bell ringing by students of a college of our denomination. Sixteen students will ring five octaves of bells and seven octaves of hand chimes.
Come prepare diapers for distribution: 9:30am Wednesday at Grace United Methodist Church. (401 Grace Street, downtown) We will be wrapping diapers that we collected in our April Diaper drive for the Diaper Bank of NC.
If a volunteer (or two) could assist Amy and Christine in loading diapers at WPPC at 9:05am on Wednesday before heading to Grace UMC, that would be greatly appreciated!
The Young at Hearts will welcome Robin Triplett as speaker on Thursday at 11:30am. Come enjoy a rich telling of Wilmington’s history. Please call the church office to sign up for this covered dish luncheon.
The Tuesday Morning Bible Study will gather at 9:15am. This week’s study will examine the role of women in the Prophetic and Wisdom Literature of the Hebrew Bible.
Friday at 10:30am our Ukulele Choir will perform at Elderhaus (near Greenfield Lake). You are welcome to come help us sing for the community served by Elderhaus.
Breakfast will be served hot and fresh on Sunday from 7:30 to 9:30am. Come and enjoy this wonderful meal! Please remember to thank the cooks. Mothers will be guests of honor at this special Mothers’ Day breakfast.
