Music at Winter Park Presbyterian is broadly traditional and central to our church family’s worship of God. We love to sing hymns from our hymnal Glory to God accompanied by organ and piano. We are regularly led in worship by our Chancel Choir (vocal choir) and Jubilee Bells (our hand bell choir). However, we also enjoy a variety of music. Since 2011, we have had a Ukulele Choir which helps lead worship once each month.
In the Spring and Fall all three of our choirs (voice, hand bells, ukulele) meet to rehearse each week.
Since 2015 we have had an annual Ukulele Camp in the summer over three evenings which offers introductory and intermediate classes in ukulele to the church and the general public. Some years we have also included a hand bell component in Ukulele Camp.
Winter Park Presbyterian Church is blessed with a number of talented and enthusiastic musicians. We frequently have small groups form for a single Sunday to share a few songs with us. The style and instruments of these small groups can vary quite a bit. They are a welcome addition to our worship.
