Friends,
This Coming Sunday our Ukulele Choir will share their gifts in Worship.
I am headed to Montreat on Sunday after worship to attend the Wee Kirk Conference (From the Conference website: “The Wee Kirk conference aspires to provide Christ-centered opportunities for inspiration, encouragement, and community among leaders of small membership churches so they can do the same in their congregations and regions.”) I will be participating in the “Barnabas Track” on “Pastoral Ministry in a Secular Age” which will begin on Sunday evening. The conference starts at 5:30pm for the dinner, opening worship, and first session. So, I may be in a bit of a hurry to get on the road after worship!
Bible Study will not meet on Tuesday, October 21st as I will be in Montreat.

Monday Morning Thoughts: In Luke 17, Jesus approaches a village full of lepers. Most people have enough sense to stay FAR away from such a place. Jesus goes there anyway. We are called to reach out to others, but we never go alone – and that is a huge blessing!
Note: I’ve heard that short videos can help introduce your page to new people on social media. I am experimenting with such videos. If you have any thoughts, please let me know.
