Congregational Meeting – Sunday, December 14th

Friends, the Session has called a Congregational Meeting for Sunday, December 14th at the end of the Worship Service to Elect Officers and Approve the Pastor’s Terms of Call.

Christmas Cantata Service

Wednesday Prayer Service

Wednesday, December 3rd at 4pm – A special Advent service. (Please note special time!)

Wednesday, December 17th at 11am.

Christmas Eve Services – Wednesday, December 24th

4pm – Glowstick Service for Children and All Ages

7pm – Traditional Candlelight Service

Young at Hearts

Thursday, December 11th – Young at Hearts luncheon and program be held at 11:30AM in Chadbourn Hall. We are excited to have once again during the Christmas Season our beautiful Preschool children sing for us. The children will begin singing at 11:30AM so please arrive by 11:15AM. Please bring a covered
dish to share. Dessert will be provided.. After the luncheon we will have a Christmas sing along led by John Shuster. Please call the church office at (910) 791-5893 by Wednesday, December 10th to sign up. (This helps our Fellowship Committee with the set up on Thursday.)

December Volunteer Opportunities

Wednesday, December 3rd: Go visiting with Emile (11am to 2pm). Contact Emile if you wish to go.

Monday, December 8th: Take Communion to Homebound Members (10:30am to 2pm) Contact Emile if you wish to go.

Tuesday, December 9th: Help assemble trail mix gift jars to share with visitors on Sunday (10:45am in the Kitchen)

Tuesday, December 16th: Serve guests lunch at First Fruits Ministry (3-4 volunteers needed). 11am to 1pm. Contact Emile if you wish to go.

Wednesday, December 17th: Go visiting with Emile (11am to 2pm). Contact Emile if you wish to go.

Monday, December 22nd: Go Carolling with members of the church. We will need an extra driver or two for the carpool. Meet at church at 10am

Tuesday Morning Bible Study:

We will meet at 9:30am on the 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd to continue our Study of Acts. We will take a week off after Christmas.
