Volunteers needed for Diaper Bank “Essentials Hub” distributions. Come volunteer (with Emile) on one of the following dates. Tuesday, October 28th at Creekwood Community (8:30am)
Note – the November Diaper Bank Distribution has been cancelled. Share the Table is now an official partner of the Diaper Bank – so they don’t need a mobile distribution.
Volunteers are needed (about four people) to help set up, serve, and clean up dinner at First Fruits Ministry on Vance Street on Thursday, October 30th. We will be there from roughly 4pm to 6pm. We are not the cooks, but will assist them. Let Emile know if you are interested in going.
Volunteers also needed for home visitations with Emile:
Monday, October 6th – 11am to 3pm Communion Visitation (need 2 or more people)
Wednesday, October 15th: 11am to 2pm
Wednesday, October 29th: 11am to 2pm
If you wish to volunteer to distribute diapers or go on home visits, please reply to this email and let us know!
The October Bus Trip will be to the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital
with Lunch at JM’s on the Water in Surf City. We will leave the church at 10:15am on Friday, October 31st. (A church member has already purchased and donated all fifteen tickets available in the 11:30am time slot. So, please call the church office to sign up soon!)
Grace and Peace!
Emile

Friends,
Thank you for letting me go visit Black River Presbyterian Church this Sunday. The congregation is small, but they and their church building are charming. After worship, I joined them in their fellowship hall for a covered dish dinner that included many vegetables grown in their gardens. It was a blessing.
See you all Sunday!
Emile
