Stray Local will be returning to WPPC to give a concert on Saturday, March 16th!
Saturday, March 16th, 2019
7:00pm – Free Admission (Donation baskets with all proceeds going to the artists will be available for those who want to support their music!)
Stray Local is the (soon-to-be) husband and wife indie folk duo of Jamie Rowen and Hannah Lomas based in Wilmington, NC. Beginning shortly after graduating from the UNC – Greensboro School of Music in 2012, the pair has developed their unique and electrifying sound, although not without hints of their southern roots. From playing a vintage acoustic Gibson, mandolin, and harmonica to Telecaster, keyboard, drum pad and even glockenspiel the duo likes to push the boundaries of genre and pave the way for a new indie folk sound. Lomas and Rowen have performed their unique sound across the east coast and on two international tours including performances in France, Germany, and across the United Kingdom. When the pair isn’t writing and performing their own music, you can find them running the streets and trails of Wilmington and racing local 5ks through marathons.
This concert is given as part of WPPC’s 2019 Spring Concert Series.
