Dear Friends, as of January of 2022 we are once again worshipping on Sunday Mornings at 10am in our Sanctuary. We are also live-streaming the worship service for those at home.

WORSHIP AND PRAYER:
We seek to encounter God’s truth through biblical teaching, prayer, music and art while honoring traditions but accepting nontraditional worship experiences, we celebrate God’s abundant gifts of life and grace.
SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE – 10AM
We gather for Worship at 10am on Sundays. We would love to meet you!
We worship all together through prayer, scripture, liturgy, hymns, our choirs, special songs, sermons and the Children’s Message.
Communion is served on the first Sunday of the Month. A gluten free bread is offered alongside regular bread. Typically we serve the elements on trays, but at special services Communion is served via Intinction or at Long Tables.
Children’s Message: The children in worship are invited to come forward and hear a special message for them. Our preachers often re-tell the Bible story of the day using anecdotes and images that make sense to the children among us (and within us!)
We invite participation all in our services. Throughout the year, the youth and children lead services. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts or even a Scots Sunday (to honor the Presbyterian faith and history of our Scottish forebears) are other examples of our inclusive services. Women and men serve as elders, ushers, readers, musicians, liturgists, Communion servers, and greeters. We make good use of the variety of our talents and gifts!
Music: Winter Park Presbyterian’s Music Ministry is a central part of our Worship together.
One or more of our choirs share their gifts every Sunday. We love music, and we love to sing, learn, and worship through the gift of Music!
Our music is typically a mix of traditional, favorite hymns, classical instrumental pieces, and less-traditional but engaging and meaningful pieces. It is not unusual at all to have organ, piano, guitar, ukulele and more in a single worship service. Our music ministry uses the gifts of many different wonderful people. (And there is room for you, too!)
Nursery and Children’s Church: Children of all ages are welcome in our worship service on Sunday Mornings. A little noise never bothers us! For parents who wish to use it, we do have a nursery were children aged 0-3 are cared for. Children 4 and above are encouraged to come to worship. During the first half of the service we have a Children’s Message. After the Children’s Message, Children are invited to go upstairs with teachers for a special “Children’s Church” program which often explores the same Bible passage as the sermon – but through art, crafts, and activities.
Bread for the Journey
One Wednesday a month, we have a simple, mid-week Communion Service called “Bread for the Journey.” Meeting in the music room, we share simple songs, prayers, scripture readings, a reflection, and the Lord’s Supper.
Next “Bread for the Journey” – Wednesday, December 20th at 11:15am.
SPECIAL WORSHIP SERVICES

We provide other nontraditional worship experiences throughout the year.
Some worship services take place in the Sanctuary. Others happen in “Upper Rooms” for smaller groups.
Mid-week worship services are a wonderful time to worship God with our many gifts.
