Friday, December 7th: Holiday Outreach Ukulele Concert at Elderhaus at 1950 Amphitheater Drive (next to Greenfield Lake).  Come join our Adult, Youth, and Children’s Ukulele Choirs in singing songs and sharing Christmas joy with the people of Elderhaus.

Sunday, December 9th – 7:30am to 9:30am:  Breakfast in Chadbourn Hall.

Sunday, December 9th – 10am:  Joy Gift Christmas Service – Joy Gift is a celebration through music, art, and drama of the Christmas story led by our children and youth.  This year our children and youth will share the Christmas story from the angels’ perspective.

Joy Gift Covered Dish Luncheon – After Sunday worship, all are invited to Chadbourn Hall to join in a covered dish luncheon.

Monday, December 10th – [6pm]  Wilmington Faiths Against Gun Violence Peace Vigil.  St. James Episcopal Church Downtown.   This candlelight prayer vigil is a gathering of members of local faith communities to pray for an end to violence, especially gun violence, in our community.

Friday, December 14th – Fellowship Bus Trip to the Christmas Show at the Carolina Opry.

Sunday, December 16th – 10:00am – Lessons and Carols Christmas Worship Service led by our church choirs.

Sunday, December 23rd:  10:00am  Worship on the Fourth Sunday of Advent

Monday, December 24th – 3:00pm: “Glowstick-Light” Christmas Eve Worship Service. Our Early “Glow Stick” Service is held with families and all ages in mind. We will sing favorite hymns, “light” glow-sticks, tell the Christmas story, and collect non-perishable food items to share with the Good Shepherd Center.
7:00pm: Candlelight Christmas Eve Worship At our traditional Candlelight Christmas Eve worship service we will share scripture readings and music celebrating the birth of Christ. We will conclude by singing “Silent Night” by candlelight.

Sunday, December 30th: 10am – Joint Service with the Congregation of Cape Fear Presbyterian Church.
