This Week @ WPPC – May 14th – 20th

Dear Friends,

Pentecost is this coming Sunday (May 20th).  Please wear red to Sunday worship as we give thanks to God for the gift of the Holy Spirit and the founding of the church.
Cookout 2Our annual church picnic is next Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00pm.  We will meet again at the Trinity United Methodist Activity Center at 4008 S. College Road.  Picnic food will be provided.  Come for fellowship, games and activities, and song.  Please bring your ukulele or other string instrument.
The Tuesday Morning Bible Study will meet at 9:15am to read and discuss the book and story of Esther.  All are welcome!
Bread for the Journey, a simple communion service, will be held on Wednesday at 11:15am in the music room.  After worship we will walk over to Katy’s for lunch.  This will be our last Bread for the Journey.

Our monthly fellowship bus trip heads to Fort Macon on Friday at 8:15am.  Come enjoy the museum and grounds of this pre-Civil War fort located on the coast.

Our Session will have its May stated meeting on Wednesday at 7pm.
